Solar Panel Kits - Assembling Your Solar Panel Kits
Starting a DIY home solar panel project is extremely fun and requires very little skill.This article will run through the steps required to put together your own solar panel kits from scratch, e.g. using things around the home that aren't in use right nowSimply spend a few moments reading through this article and follow the outlined steps.
What's Required For Solar Panel Kits:
To build your own home solar panel kits the required bits and pieces are all house hold items, so there is no need to buy something new to make your solar panels.The list below describes all the parts needed:
-> Regular Household Screwdriver
-> An Electric Wood Saw (better than a hand saw)
-> Solder Gun
-> Hand Held Drill
-> Copper Wire Stripes
-> Pliers for Cutting Wires
-> Paint Brush
-> Solder
-> Piece of Plexiglass
-> Water Proof Silicon Caulking
-> A DIY Flux Pen
There are a couple of extra pieces that will be needed to complete the solar panel. The final bits of your solar panel kits are:
-> Large plywood sheet
- Cuts of tin wire
Some UV varnish and a solar cell will also be required if you don't have a solar panel at your disposal.
Solar Panel Kits Procedure:
1. Using your saw cut the plywood to the required size to house your solar cell and then coat with the UV protective varnish.
2. Join each of your solar cells together using the wire and then solder them together.
3. Use caulk spots to join the solar cells to the plywood.
4. Male a hole in the plywood for the solar cell wires. Once pulled through, seal with silicon.
5. Use the drill to add a couple of screwholes to the plexiglass.
6. Next a support needs to be made for the plexiglass.
7. Take the plywood housing the solar cells, and attach the plexiglass to it utilising the screws and silicon.
8. Check all parts of the solar panel kits and secure and then your done.
