Don't Mix up with Notebook, Laptop and Netbook
Time is changing, so is science and technology. Computer, for example, from its first machine caming out, the development of it has changed with each passing day. Many people keep the concept that a notebook is a laptop. The basic difference between a laptop and a notebook is umm nothing! These two words are interchangeable and basically notebook is just another word for a laptop; a computer that folds in half and is portable.
And then, comes the netbook. Pay attention that the words notebook and netbook are very similar. Make sure you do not get them mixed up! It is said that a netbook is simply a special type of laptop that has certain characteristics, so a netbook is widelly called a mini laptop. Netbooks aren't as powerful as bigger notebook computers,The small size of netbooks can be a great thing but the limited size of their screens can be a hassle if you have trouble reading in small fonts. Netbooks do not have a CD drive.You can decide if this is a big deal to you or not. None the less, connectivity is a central focus for netbooks. Internet downloads are quickly catching up on hard media products, so Netbooks generally have longer battery life than laptops.
One thing you should know that the Netbooks now only have single core processors instead of the common dual core processors common in most modern laptops/notebooks: This aspect of a netbook can be both a good and a bad thing. Single core processors are slower than dual core processors and can't handle as much information at the same time. The good bit about a single core processor in a netbook is that they require less power to run than a more traditional dual core processor.
Now you know the basic characteristics of a standard laptopand netbook.so now you can decide for yourself about whether you would like a netbook more than a laptop or a notebook.
