Ultra Portable Laptops by HCL

HCL has announced low cost Mileap X range laptops which they prefer to call Leaptops. They are affordable and ultra portable laptops which suit the budget consumer. The Mileap X Laptops is powered with Intel Celeron M 900 MHz Processor, with a 7 Inch display screen and 800 x 480 pixels screen resolution. It is powered with an Intel 915GMS chipset, Celeron ULV 353 processor with Linux Operating system. Other features include a 2-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports, built in Speakers, Wifi and a 6-cell battery. It is an ultra portable laptop weighing just 1.44 kilograms.
The Y series model is powered with an Intel A110 processor and has a 945GU Express chipset. It is equipped with 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, 3-in-1 card reader, USB ports, integrated 1.3MP webcam and WiFi. It HCL Mileap Leaptop has a 7-inch screen with 1024×600 touch screen LCD, and Windows Vista Home Premium Operating system. It is an ultra portable lightweight model and weighs only 960 grams.
The Mileap L series are slightly higher in value but they are powered with an Intel Celeron M ULV (ultra low voltage) processor, with 512 MB RAM. Other features include WiFi, 10/100 Ethernet, 2 USB ports, 1 SD Card reader, Inbuilt Microphone and Speakers, Audio out and in jacks and Touchpad. It has a 7 inch TFT screen with 800x480 screen resolution. The Total weight (including battery) of L series HCL Laptops is 1.44 Kg.
The HCL Mileap V Series is a sleek ultra portable laptop with a 7-inch screen, WVGA Widescreen TFT LCD Swivel Touch Screen Display; with 1024 x 600 pixels screen resolution, 10cd/m2 brightness and Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA 900 Graphics chipset. It offers connectivity options like Integrated WiFi 802.11a/b/g LAN connection, Integrated Bluetooth v2.0 wireless connection and Integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN connection. It is also equipped with an Integrated 1.3 Mega pixel webcam.
